He received an associate's degree in agricultural business from Linn-Benton Community College and studied agricultural business at OSU.

He is manager of the Lake Oswego Hunt Club. The bride's sister, Amy Kitchel, was the maid of honor. The groom's sister, Chorak Silbernagel Kristin Lynn Chorak and Randall Lee Silbernagel of Corvallis were married July 7 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Father John Henderson officiated and Deacon Francis Potts assisted.

Kristin, the daughter of Nicholas Chorak and the late Beverly Chorak of Corvallis, graduated from Corvallis High School in 1993 and received a -bachelor's degree in elementary education from Western Oregon University in 1997. She is a fourth grade teacher at Jefferson Elementary School. Randall, the son of Glen and Zoe Silbernagel of Corvallis, graduated. from CHS in 1993. He is employed at HewlettPackard.

Alyssa Dalton was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's sister, Nicole Chorak; sister-in-law, Lisa Silbernagel; cousin, Anne Marie Corgan; and Petra Schuetz, Christy Schloss and Angela Salathe. The groom's nieces, Megan and Lindsey Silbernagel, were flowergirls. Brad Badger was the best man. Groomsmen were the Ken and Joanie Stevenson of Corvallis, graduated from Crescent Valley School in 1993.

Decorations were by their daughter-in-law, Shelley Stuewe. Vern Stuewe and Gladys Johnson were married Oct. 7, 1951, in Montebello, Calif. They lived in Montebello and Fullerton, until 1963. Vern was in the Navy during the early years of their marriage.

The family, then with five children, moved to Kings Valley in 1963, then to Corvallis in 1968. The couple's children are Sharon O'Donnell of Beaverton; Dale of Beaverton; Marilyn Teleck of Stayton; Eric of Corvallis; Fred of Philomath; and Tina Miller of Corvallis.
