I think the overall blur is not desirable.
Since you don't need all these features, and ESPECIALLY because you don't like the new body shape, I wouldn't bother, unless you test it for a while and then decide. The feel is VERY IMPORTANT. For me it can ruin everything.
BTW the G9 II may indeed give noticeably more detail at ISO 6400 and above, but up to ISO 3200 or so it's pretty much indistinguishable.
thank you for your input, to me is very rare case to use those higher ISO, even if nice to have, will not have significant weight on the decision, but for sure the new focus method have some... but that alone or together with the 25MP, will not justify the big investment, "per si"...
